Pirates Cove. A Place for Local Riff Raff

Pirates Cove is one of those places that is legend.
Though little known, unless you are a sailor or a local (known as "riff raff"). Or a bit of both.
Pirates Cove was once literally that, a place where Pirates would come and hide their big pirate ships in the inlets, away from site.
Today Pirates still habitat the place, though today they are far less intimidating.
Ok, Sometimes. (I did once meet up with a python there: see)
Fights break out occassionally.
Be it drunks or dogs. They are promptly run off to cool off before allowed to come back.
Pirates Cove is rumored to be the place where Jimmy Buffett sat and wrote the infamous Cheeseburger in Paradise. My mother will testify to the burgers.
I can attest to the bands. They are always good. And the company-even better.

(Any photos with signs, you MUST click to enlarge so that you can read the wording. LOL!!!!!)

Some"one" gives my parents the "up and down".

My dad tries to ignore the sad face behind him.

My mom gave in. Now she has 2 dogs friends.

I count five dogs on deck in this pictures:

Please click to read the dry erase board sign.

They aren't kidding. Dogs rule at Pirates Cove.

Despite the rowdy crowd, it is a slice of Paradise.
A secret paradise.
A Pirates paradise.

Great post. That dog looks pitiful behind your DH. Did he feed him?
I hope you'll drop by AtticMag and see the butterflies I found. #8 at Outdoor Wednesday.
